Flood Watch issued March 14 at 10:41AM CDT until March 16 at 1:00AM CDT by NWS Memphis TN

A robust round of training thunderstorms will affects central and
eastern portions of the Mid-South on Saturday, resulting in flooding
rainfall.

* WHAT…Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is possible.
Widespread rainfall totals of 2 to 5 inches, with localized higher
amounts.

* WHERE…Portions of North Mississippi, including the following
areas, Alcorn, Benton MS, Calhoun, Chickasaw, Itawamba, Lafayette,
Lee MS, Monroe, Pontotoc, Prentiss, Tippah, Tishomingo, Union and
Yalobusha and West Tennessee, including the following areas,
Benton TN, Carroll, Chester, Decatur, Hardeman, Hardin, Henderson,
Henry, Madison and McNairy.

* WHEN…From 7 AM Saturday through 1 AM Sunday.

* IMPACTS…Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– Multiple rounds of training thunderstorms will result in
widespread rainfall totals of 2 to 5 inches with isolated
higher amounts.
