High Wind Warning issued March 14 at 3:21AM CDT until March 15 at 1:00PM CDT by NWS Sioux Falls SD

* WHAT…Northwest winds 30 to 40 mph with gusts up to 60 mph
possible.

* WHERE…Portions of central, east central, south central, and
southeast South Dakota.

* WHEN…From 10 PM this evening to 1 PM CDT Saturday.

* IMPACTS…Damaging winds will blow down trees and power lines.
Widespread power outages are expected. Travel will be difficult,
especially for high profile vehicles.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…Rain is expected to change to snow tonight
and early Saturday. Regardless of snowfall amounts, strong winds
and falling snow will create reduced visibility. Blowing snow is
likely after snow ends.
