.Very strong winds and dry air will move into the area following
the passage of a dryline Friday morning and afternoon. The
combination of high winds, very low relative humidity values, and
dry fuels will create extreme fire weather conditions across
eastern Oklahoma and northwest Arkansas.
* AFFECTED AREA…In Arkansas, Benton, Carroll, Washington,
Madison, Crawford, Franklin, and Sebastian counties. In
Oklahoma, Pushmataha, Choctaw, Osage, Washington, Nowata,
Craig, Ottawa, Pawnee, Tulsa, Rogers, Mayes, Delaware, Creek,
Okfuskee, Okmulgee, Wagoner, Cherokee, Adair, Muskogee,
McIntosh, Sequoyah, Pittsburg, Haskell, Latimer, and Le Flore
counties.
* WIND…South to southwest winds 30 to 50 mph with gusts 40 to
65 mph.
* HUMIDITY…Falling to 10 to 25 percent during the afternoon.
* TEMPERATURE…High temperatures in the mid 70s to around 80.
* IMPACTS…Any fires that develop will spread dangerously fast.
