Rip Current Statement issued March 14 at 3:19AM AST until March 14 at 6:00PM AST by NWS San Juan PR

* WHAT…Breaking waves around 6 to 7 feet, and occasionally
higher, resulting in life-threatening rip currents.

* WHERE…Beaches along the northern coast of Puerto Rico, from
Rincon to Fajardo.

* WHEN…Through 6 PM AST this afternoon.

* IMPACTS…Rip currents can sweep even the best swimmers away
from shore into deeper water, where it becomes difficult to
return to safety.
