Winter Storm Warning issued March 13 at 10:38PM PDT until March 14 at 5:00PM PDT by NWS Medford OR

* WHAT…Heavy snow of 5 to 10 inches possible above 2000 feet,
except up to 20 inches above 4500 feet. Winds could gust as high
as 50 mph over higher, exposed mountain locations. 1 to 4 inches
of snow is possible down to valley floors below 2000 feet.

* WHERE…Areas above 2000 feet elevation in western Siskiyou
County, mainly west and south of the Scott Valley.

* WHEN…From 2 AM to 5 PM PDT Friday.

* IMPACTS…Travel could be very difficult to impossible. The
hazardous conditions could impact the Friday morning and evening
commutes. Gusty winds could bring down tree branches.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…Snow levels could be near valley floors
Friday morning, then rise above 3000 feet Friday afternoon.
