…The Flood Warning is extended for the following rivers in
Alabama…

Tombigbee River At Gainesville Lock and Dam affecting Greene,
Marengo and Sumter Counties.

.Heavy rainfall through the weekend may be enough to generate minor
flooding over the Tombigbee River basin. A flood warning is now in
effect for the Tombigbee River.

* WHAT…Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE…Tombigbee River at Gainesville Lock and Dam.

* WHEN…From Monday morning until further notice.

* IMPACTS…At 101.0 feet, Flooding of low lying agricultural and
wooded lands in the area occurs.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 8:00 PM CDT Friday the stage was 75.5 feet.
– Forecast…The river is expected to rise above flood stage
Monday morning and continue rising to a crest of 104.8 feet
Tuesday evening.
– Flood stage is 101.0 feet.
