High Wind Watch issued March 14 at 2:49PM MDT until March 17 at 3:00AM MDT by NWS Billings MT

* WHAT…Southwest winds 30 to 40 mph with gusts up to 65 mph
possible in the Paradise Valley, Northern Sweet Grass, Red Lodge
and Melville Foothills. Gusts up to 75 mph possible in the
Beartooth Foothills and Livingston Area.

* WHERE…A portion of south central Montana.

* WHEN…From Sunday morning through late Sunday night.

* IMPACTS…Damaging winds could blow down trees and power lines.
Travel could be difficult, especially for high profile vehicles.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…The strongest period of winds will occur
between Sunday morning and Sunday afternoon for the Livingston
Area, Paradise Valley, Northern Sweet Grass, and Melville
Foothills. The strongest period of winds for the Red Lodge and
Beartooth Foothills will be Sunday evening into early Monday
morning.
