High Rip Current Risk, north and east facing reefs of the
Marianas.
* WHEN…Until 4 PM ChST Sunday.
* IMPACTS…Dangerous swimming and surfing conditions and localized
beach erosion. Rip currents can sweep even the best swimmers away
from shore into deeper water.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…The significant northeast swell is subsiding,
but is expected to remain high enough to maintain hazardous surf
along north facing reefs and a high risk of rip currents along
north and east facing reefs through Sunday afternoon.
