A low in the far northern gulf will bring a front toward the
northern gulf coast Sunday night through Monday. Confidence has
increased for 3 to 6 inches of snow to fall in 24 hours as
temperatures will be below freezing with snow levels at sea
level. The highest snow rates will occur Monday morning with snow
showers continuing through the rest of the day. As this system
approaches, we are monitoring the increasing potential for
impactful snow accumulations for the City and Borough of Yakutat.
Stay tuned for further forecast updates.
