Wind Advisory issued March 15 at 2:53AM CDT until March 15 at 5:00PM CDT by NWS Chicago IL

* WHAT…For the High Wind Warning, south winds 25 to 35 mph with
gusts up to 55 mph expected. For the Wind Advisory, southwest
winds 25 to 30 mph with gusts up to 50 mph expected.

* WHERE…Portions of central, east central, north central, and
northeast Illinois and northwest Indiana.

* WHEN…For the first Wind Advisory, until 7 AM CDT /8 AM EDT/ this
morning. For the High Wind Warning, from 7 AM CDT /8 AM EDT/ this
morning to noon CDT /1 PM EDT/ today. For the second Wind
Advisory, from noon CDT /1 PM EDT/ today to 5 PM CDT /6 PM EDT/
this afternoon.

* IMPACTS…Damaging winds will blow down trees and power lines.
Widespread power outages are expected. Travel will be difficult,
especially for high profile vehicles. Gusty winds will blow around
unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power
outages may result.
