inches are possible this evening. For the future Winter Storm
Warning above 4500 feet, heavy snow expected. Total snow
accumulations between 12 and 24 inches. Winds gusting as high as
70 mph.
* WHERE…Areas above 2000 feet elevation in western Siskiyou
County, mainly west and south of the Scott Valley.
* WHEN…For the Winter Weather Advisory, until 11 PM PDT this
evening. For the Winter Storm Warning, from 11 AM Saturday to 11
PM PDT Sunday.
* IMPACTS…Travel could be very difficult to impossible. The
hazardous conditions could impact the Friday evening commute. Very
strong winds could cause extensive tree damage.
