Flood Advisory issued March 15 at 11:29PM CDT until March 16 at 12:00AM CDT by NWS Louisville KY

* WHAT…Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.

* WHERE…A portion of central Kentucky, including the following
counties, Breckinridge, Bullitt, Grayson, Hardin, Hart, Larue,
Meade, Nelson and Spencer.

* WHEN…Until midnight CDT /100 AM EDT/.

* IMPACTS…Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
Overflowing poor drainage areas. Some low-water crossings may
become impassable.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 1129 PM CDT /1229 AM EDT/, Doppler radar indicated heavy
rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or
expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 2.5
and 3 inches of rain have fallen.
– Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.5 inches are expected
over the area. This additional rain will result in minor
flooding.
– Some locations that will experience flooding include…
Elizabethtown, Bardstown, Shepherdsville, Leitchfield,
Hodgenville, Brandenburg, Hardinsburg, Pioneer Village,
Munfordville and Taylorsville.
