…The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Alabama…

Big Nance Creek AT Courtland affecting Lawrence County.

* WHAT…Moderate flooding is forecast.

* WHERE…Big Nance Creek at Courtland.

* WHEN…From this evening to Monday afternoon.

* IMPACTS…At 16.0 feet, water begins to cover roads south of
downtown Courtland.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 9:00 PM CDT Saturday the stage was 12.4 feet.
– Bankfull stage is 12.0 feet.
– Forecast…The river is expected to rise above flood stage
late tonight to a crest of 17.0 feet early Sunday evening. It
will then fall below flood stage Monday afternoon.
– Flood stage is 14.0 feet.
– Flood History…This crest compares to a previous crest of
17.0 feet on 07/10/1940.
