Tombigbee River at Bigbee

For the Tombigbee River…including Bigbee, Amory…Moderate
flooding is forecast.

* WHAT…Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE…Tombigbee River at Bigbee.

* WHEN…Until further notice.

* IMPACTS…At 23.0 feet, Bigbee Road just west of the river will
flood. Access to several homes will be restricted. Large area of
farm land will flood west of the river.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 8:30 PM CDT Saturday the stage was 15.1 feet.
– Recent Activity…The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
ending at 8:30 PM CDT Saturday was 15.1 feet.
– Forecast…The river will rise to 22.0 feet tomorrow morning.
It will then fall early Monday afternoon. It will rise to
21.8 feet early Tuesday morning. It will then fall again but
remain above flood stage.
– Flood stage is 14.0 feet.
