Shoal Creek Near Iron City affecting Lauderdale and Lawrence
Counties.

For the Shoal Creek…including Iron City…Moderate flooding is
forecast.

* WHAT…Minor flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is
forecast.

* WHERE…Shoal Creek near Iron City.

* WHEN…Until late this evening.

* IMPACTS…At 20.0 feet, Water begins to flood portions of Railroad
Rd east of Hwy 242, and approaches Wayland Springs Rd Hwy 242
north of Iron City. These roads may be impassable at higher levels.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 3:30 AM CDT Sunday the stage was 19.0 feet and rising.
– Recent Activity…The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
ending at 3:30 AM CDT Sunday was 19.0 feet.
– Forecast…The river is expected to rise to a crest of 21.0
feet this morning. It will then fall below flood stage late
this evening.
– Flood stage is 14.0 feet.
