county, Orleans.
* WHEN…Until 800 AM EDT Monday.
* IMPACTS…Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying
and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. Depending on
ice behavior, any release of the ice jam could result in sudden
rises of water, leading to a rapid flooding situation.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 1019 PM EDT, emergency management reported flooding due to
an ice jam located near the Route 5 and Route 14 intersection
in Coventry. Although water has been receding, low lying
roads may still be under water.
