Mississippi…

Coldwater River at Marks

For the Coldwater River…including Marks…Minor flooding is
forecast.

* WHAT…Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE…Coldwater River at Marks.

* WHEN…From Monday morning to early Wednesday morning.

* IMPACTS…At 39.5 feet, Flooding is occurring around Marks and in
low-lying farmland in Quitman County.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 11:00 AM CDT Sunday the stage was 35.4 feet.
– Forecast…The river is expected to rise above flood stage
late tomorrow morning to a crest of 39.5 feet tomorrow
evening. It will then fall below flood stage Tuesday evening.
– Flood stage is 39.0 feet.
