Mississippi…

Yalobusha River at Calhoun City

For the Yalobusha River…including Calhoun City…Minor flooding is
forecast.

* WHAT…Minor flooding is occurring.

* WHERE…Yalobusha River at Calhoun City.

* WHEN…Until early Wednesday morning.

* IMPACTS…At 24.0 feet, Extensive agricultural flooding is
occurring. Access to low-lying areas is restricted due to flood
waters covering secondary roads.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 11:15 AM CDT Sunday the stage was 23.6 feet.
– Forecast…The river is expected to rise to a crest of 23.6
feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage
Tuesday evening.
– Flood stage is 23.0 feet.
