Flood Warning issued March 16 at 2:36PM CDT until March 19 at 11:28PM CDT by NWS Huntsville AL

…The National Weather Service in Huntsville AL has issued a Flood
Warning for the following rivers in Alabama…

Tennessee River at Florence affecting Lauderdale and Colbert
Counties.

* WHAT…Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE…Tennessee River at Florence.

* WHEN…From this evening to late Wednesday evening.

* IMPACTS…At 20.0 feet, Alabama State Highway 20 is flooded at the
underpass below U.S. Highways 43 and 72. The underpass will likely
be closed.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 2:15 PM CDT Sunday the stage was 16.4 feet.
– Bankfull stage is 18.0 feet.
– Forecast…The river will rise above flood stage this evening
to 19.6 feet Tuesday morning. It will then fall below flood
stage early Wednesday afternoon to 16.7 feet Thursday
evening. It will rise to 17.2 feet Friday evening. It will
then fall to 17.1 feet Saturday morning. It will rise to 17.2
feet Sunday, March 23. It will then fall again and remain
below flood stage and linger in action stage through Sunday.
– Flood stage is 18.0 feet.
– Flood History…This crest compares to a previous crest of
19.6 feet on 03/15/1909.
