Flood Warning issued March 17 at 3:57AM EDT until March 17 at 10:00AM EDT by NWS Buffalo NY

* WHAT…Small stream flooding along Sandy Creek caused by rain and
snowmelt will continue early this morning.

* WHERE…A portion of central New York, including areas along Sandy
Creek in the following counties, Jefferson and Lewis.

* WHEN…Until 1000 AM EDT Monday.

* IMPACTS…Flooding will continue along Sandy Creek early this
morning. Local broadcast media reports flooding from Sandy Creek
has closed a portion of Liberty Street where it crosses Sandy
Creek near Route 178. Flood waters are also near several homes
along Liberty Street.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 351 AM EDT, Minor flooding will continue along Sandy Creek
early this morning. A gauge along the creek in Adams shows
the level has recently crested, with water levels expected to
drop quickly this morning.
– Flooding impacts will continue, but no additional rainfall is
expected.

Areas along Sandy Creek from Adams downstream to Lake
Ontario.
