…The Flood Warning is extended for the following rivers in Maine…

Swift River At Roxbury affecting Oxford County.

* WHAT…Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE…Swift River at Roxbury.

* WHEN…From this afternoon to this evening.

* IMPACTS…At 8.0 feet, Minor flooding occurs. River encroaches on
Route 17 and some properties along the Swift River in and around
Byron. 7 Swift River comes out of banks and inundates lowlands in
Roxbury and Byron.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 5:00 AM EDT Monday the stage was 5.3 feet.
– Forecast…The river is expected to rise above flood stage
this afternoon to a crest of 8.1 feet this afternoon. It will
then fall below flood stage later this afternoon.
– Flood stage is 8.0 feet.
