Flood Watch issued March 17 at 3:32AM PDT until March 17 at 8:00AM PDT by NWS Portland OR

* WHAT…Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be
possible.

* WHERE…A portion of west central Oregon, including the following
areas, Benton County Lowlands, Cascade Foothills of Marion and
Linn Counties, Lane County Cascade Foothills, Lane County Lowlands
and Linn County Lowlands.

* WHEN…Until 8 AM PDT this morning.

* IMPACTS…Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas. Landslides
and debris flows are possible during this flood event. People,
structures, and roads located below steep slopes, in canyons, and
near the mouths of canyons may be at serious risk from rapidly
moving landslides.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– A final organized area of rain will track southward through
the region this morning. While rainfall rates are likely
insufficient to result in additional flooding, areas of
standing water and elevated river and creek levels will
persist until precipitation has ended.
