Blowing Dust Advisory issued March 18 at 10:28AM MDT until March 18 at 1:00PM MDT by NWS Goodland KS

* WHAT…For the Blowing Dust Advisory, visibility between
one-quarter and one mile in blowing dust. For the High Wind
Warning, northwest winds 35 to 45 mph with gusts up to 65 mph
expected.

* WHERE…In Colorado, Cheyenne County. In Kansas, Greeley and
Wallace Counties.

* WHEN…For the Blowing Dust Advisory, until 1 PM MDT this
afternoon. For the High Wind Warning, from 6 PM this evening to
noon MDT Wednesday.

* IMPACTS…Hazardous driving conditions due to reduced visibility.
Poor air quality may cause issues for people with respiratory
problems. High winds may move loose debris, damage property and
cause power outages. Travel could be difficult, especially for
high profile vehicles. Plumes of blowing dust will create pockets
of low visibility. Visibilities will likely change rapidly over
short distances, making travel hazardous in these areas.
