Blowing Dust Advisory issued March 18 at 1:59AM MDT until March 18 at 8:00PM MDT by NWS Albuquerque NM

* WHAT…For the High Wind Warning, west winds 40 to 50 mph with
gusts up to 70 mph expected. For the Blowing Dust Advisory,
visibility between one-quarter and one mile in blowing dust
expected.

* WHERE…Central Highlands, South Central Highlands, Upper Tularosa
Valley, Curry County, De Baca County, Guadalupe County, Quay
County, Roosevelt County, and Chaves County Plains.

* WHEN…For the High Wind Warning, from 10 AM this morning to 3 AM
MDT Wednesday. For the Blowing Dust Advisory, from noon today to 8
PM MDT this evening.

* IMPACTS…Expect hazardous driving conditions due to reduced
visibility. Damaging winds will blow down trees and power lines.
Widespread power outages are expected. Travel will be difficult,
especially for high profile vehicles.
