…The National Weather Service in Memphis has issued a Flood
Advisory for the following rivers in Tennessee…
Tennessee River at Perryville
For the Tennessee River…including Pickwick Dam, Savannah,
Saltillo, Perryville, Johnsonville…elevated river levels are
forecast.
* WHAT…Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
* WHERE…Tennessee River at Perryville.
* WHEN…From this evening to Tuesday, March 25.
* IMPACTS…At 364.5 feet, In Decatur County, low-lying portions of
Perryville Marina parking lot and evacuation roads become flooded.
At the Gumdale Marina, water reaches the road leading north to
Fisher Landing, and water inundates lots on the south end of
Fisher Landing. Access to Gumdale may be limited. Inundation of
the boat launch area at the end of Mouse Tail Road and Willow Oaks
evacuation road occurs.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 7:00 PM CDT Monday the stage was 362.3 feet.
– Forecast…The river is expected to rise to a crest of 364.8
feet Thursday evening.
– Action stage is 362.0 feet.
– Flood stage is 365.0 feet.
