East Fork White River at Seymour.
White River at Petersburg.
White River at Hazleton.
.Rainfall amounts of 1.5 to over 2 inches across parts of eastern
and southern Indiana over the weekend are producing minor flooding
in spots in the East Fork White basin and will bring flooding to
lower portions of the White River in the next day or so. The crest
on the East Fork should reach Seymour Tuesday and work
downstream from there, while the lower end of the White should crest
by the end of the week. Rainfall expected Wednesday through
Wednesday night could lengthen the flooding.
* WHAT…Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
* WHERE…East Fork White River at Seymour.
* WHEN…Until late Wednesday evening.
* IMPACTS…At 13.5 feet, Lowland flood continues. County Road 700 E
begins to flood.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 8:45 PM EDT Monday the stage was 12.9 feet.
– Recent Activity…The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
ending at 8:45 PM EDT Monday was 13.2 feet.
– Forecast…The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.7
feet early tomorrow afternoon. It will then fall below flood
stage late Wednesday morning.
– Flood stage is 12.0 feet.
