…The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in North
Carolina…

Neuse River At Smithfield affecting Johnston County.

* WHAT…Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE…Neuse River at Smithfield.

* WHEN…Until late tonight.

* IMPACTS…At 15.0 feet, Minor flooding begins. Flooding begins
along the Neuse Riverwalk. Water nears the base of the holding
tank at the water treatment plant.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 9:15 AM EDT Tuesday the stage was 16.8 feet.
– Recent Activity…The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
ending at 9:15 AM EDT Tuesday was 17.5 feet.
– Forecast…The river is expected to fall below flood stage
late this afternoon and continue falling to 9.4 feet by
Thursday evening.
– Flood stage is 15.0 feet.
