High Wind Warning issued March 18 at 3:12AM CDT until March 19 at 3:00AM CDT by NWS Amarillo TX

* WHAT…West winds 35 to 45 mph with gusts up to 65 mph expected.

* WHERE…Portions of the Panhandle of Oklahoma and the Panhandle of
Texas.

* WHEN…From 11 AM this morning to 3 AM CDT Wednesday.

* IMPACTS…Damaging winds will blow down trees and power lines.
Widespread power outages may occur. Travel will be difficult,
especially for high profile vehicles.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…A shift in winds from out of the north is
likely to be present following the expected cold front passage.
Strong winds are likely to continue to gust behind this passage
clear into the overnight hours.
