Special Weather Statement issued March 17 at 9:15PM CDT by NWS Chicago IL

Gusty south to southwest winds and low daytime relative humidity
levels will result in a heightened fire danger on Tuesday across
portions of northern Illinois, generally along and south of I-88.
Quicker drying and dormant fuels like brush and grass will be
particularly susceptible to ignition with strong winds likely
leading to the rapid spread of any fires that do occur.

Use caution with the disposal of smoking materials and consider
postponing any outdoor burns to a different day.
