Winter Storm Warning issued March 18 at 8:41AM MDT until March 18 at 12:00PM MDT by NWS Billings MT

* WHAT…Heavy snow occurring. Additional snow accumulations of 4 to
8 inches, greatest on north facing slopes. Winds gusting as high
as 45 mph.

* WHERE…Absaroka/Beartooth Mountains and Crazy Mountains.

* WHEN…Until noon MDT today.

* IMPACTS…Additional heavy snow and periods of blowing snow will
make recreation in the backcountry very difficult. Avalanche
danger will remain elevated today.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…The highest amounts will fall over north and
east facing slopes in the Absaroka/Beartooth Mountains.
