Winter Storm Watch issued March 18 at 2:27AM CDT until March 20 at 1:00AM CDT by NWS Duluth MN

* WHAT…Heavy snow possible. Total snow accumulations between 3 and
7 inches possible. Winds could gust as high as 35 mph.

* WHERE…Ashland and Sawyer Counties. This includes the Tribal
Lands of the Lac Courte Oreilles Reservation and the Bad River
Reservation. Other locations including Madeline Island.

* WHEN…From late tonight through late Wednesday night.

* IMPACTS…Travel could be very difficult. The hazardous conditions
could impact the Wednesday morning and evening commutes.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…Gusty northeast winds in excess of 30 mph are
possible, leading to areas of blowing and drifting snow.
Snow is expected to be heavy and wet.
