.A strong late season winter system will move northeast through the
region from late tonight into Wednesday. Rain will transition to a
wet snow from northwest to southeast on Wednesday morning and
afternoon. Some sleet may mix in during this transition period. A
narrow band of heavy snow accumulations will likely occur northwest
of a line from Charles City, Iowa to Neillsville, Wisconsin.
Additionally, strong wind gusts of 35 to 55 mph will lead to
occasional whiteouts in parts of west central and central Wisconsin
and blizzard conditions in parts of southeast Minnesota and
northeast Iowa.

8 inches possible. Winds could gust as high as 45 mph.
