Blizzard Warning issued March 19 at 3:41AM CDT until March 19 at 2:00PM CDT by NWS Hastings NE

* WHAT…Blizzard conditions. Additional snow accumulations between
1 and 8 inches. Winds gusting as high as 70 mph.

* WHERE…Portions of north central Kansas and central, east
central, and south central Nebraska.

* WHEN…Until 2 PM CDT this afternoon.

* IMPACTS…Roads, and especially bridges and overpasses, will
likely become slick and hazardous. Visibilities may drop below 1/4
mile due to falling and blowing snow. The strong winds and weight
of snow on tree limbs may down power lines and could cause
sporadic power outages. Plan on slippery road conditions. The
hazardous conditions will likely impact the Wednesday morning
commute. Very strong winds could cause extensive tree damage.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…Despite the wet nature of the snow, very
strong winds will cause at least some blowing and drifting snow,
with significant snow drifts possible across parts of the local
area Wednesday.
