Low afternoon relative humidities in the 20 to 25 percent range
combined with occasional wind gusts around 15 to 20 mph will
result in increased fire danger across the western and central
Piedmont and western Sandhills from Wednesday afternoon into early
evening.
People are urged to avoid outdoor burning on Wednesday. If you
must burn, use extreme caution since fires can grow quickly and
become dangerous in these conditions. Ensure that fire suppression
equipment is readily available. Properly extinguish and dispose of
any smoking materials.
