Rip Current Statement issued March 20 at 10:19AM AST until March 22 at 6:00AM AST by NWS San Juan PR

* WHAT…For the High Surf Advisory, large breaking waves of 8 to
10 feet. For the High Rip Current Risk, life-threatening rip
currents.

* WHERE…North-facing beaches of Culebra, St. Thomas, and St.
John.

* WHEN…For the High Surf Advisory, remains until 6 PM AST
friday. For the High Rip Current Risk, remains through late
friday night

* IMPACTS…For the High Surf Advisory, High waves that can wash
over jetties and sweep people and pets onto jagged rocks. Rough
surf may also knock you down. Large breaking waves will result
in localized beach/dune structure erosion and dangerous swimming
conditions. For the High Rip Current Risk, rip currents can
sweep even the best swimmers away from shore into deeper water,
where it becomes difficult to return to safety.

Florida State Watch Office Morning Situation Report EOC Activation Level:  Level 2 Meteorological Summary: Warm and dry conditions can be expected to persist across the Sunshine State today as high pressure over the western Atlantic holds in place (near-zero chance of rain). Ongoing dry conditions will allow for relative humidity values throughout the western Peninsula and along the I-75 corridor to fall near and below critical thresholds this afternoon (30-35%)  creating sensitive to elevated wildfire conditions. Small Craft Advisory issued April 20 at 8:05PM EDT until April 22 at 10:00AM EDT by NWS Detroit/Pontiac MI

* WHAT...Expect sustained winds up to 23 knots from the southwest with gusts up to 33 knots. The largest significant waves will be 4 feet with a potential maximum wave height of 5 feet. * WHERE...Outer Saginaw Bay SW of Alabaster to Port Austin MI to Inner Saginaw Bay and Inner Saginaw Bay SW of Point Au Gres to Bay Port MI. * WHEN...The maximum winds are expected around 7 PM EDT Monday with the largest waves expected around 11 AM EDT Monday. * IMPACTS...Conditions will be hazardous to small craft.
