Winter Storm Warning issued March 21 at 2:59AM MDT until March 22 at 12:00PM MDT by NWS Missoula MT

* WHAT…Heavy snow expected above 4000 feet. Likelihood of major
impacts from snow is up to 80 percent. Total snow accumulations
between 8 and 12 inches. Winds gusting as high as 40 mph.

* WHERE…I-90 Lookout Pass to Haugan.

* WHEN…From 6 PM this evening to noon MDT Saturday.

* IMPACTS…Winter traveling conditions. For MAJOR impacts from
snow, expect considerable disruptions to normal activities.
Dangerous or impossible traveling conditions. Avoid travel in the
impacted areas if possible. Widespread closures and disruptions to
infrastructure may occur.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…A burst of intense snowfall rates and strong
winds will accompany a cold frontal passage Friday evening.
