Flood Advisory issued March 22 at 7:59AM EDT until March 22 at 8:45PM EDT by NWS Caribou ME

* WHAT…Flooding caused by an ice jam continues.

* WHERE…A portion of Northern Maine, including the following
county, Aroostook.

* WHEN…Until 845 PM EDT Saturday.

* IMPACTS…Some low-water crossings have become impassable.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 756 AM EDT, trained weather spotters reported continued
flooding from the ice jam along the Gardner Creek Road and
low lying properties. Minor flooding is occurring.
– Some locations that will experience flooding include…
Washburn and Wade.
– Ice jam is currently located 1 mile NW of Castle Hill on the
Aroostook River, and extends 1.5 miles back.
