concerns will become more widespread on Sunday as winds shift to
the northwest and dry air remains.

The National Weather Service in Hastings has issued a Red Flag
Warning for wind and low relative humidity, which is in effect
from 1 PM this afternoon to 8 PM CDT this evening. A Fire Weather
Watch has also been issued. This Fire Weather Watch for wind and
low relative humidity is in effect from Sunday afternoon through
early Sunday evening.
* WINDS…Today: South to southwest 15 to 25 MPH with gusts up to
40 MPH. For Sunday: west 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 45 mph.
* RELATIVE HUMIDITY…Today: as low as 20 percent. For Sunday: as
low as 15 to 22 percent.
* IMPACTS…Any fire that develops will catch and spread
quickly. Outdoor burning is not recommended.
