.Fire weather concerns will again arise this afternoon-evening
across our entire forecast area, as gusty northwesterly winds
prevail and a slightly drier airmass moves in.
The National Weather Service in Hastings has issued a Red Flag
Warning for wind and low relative humidity, which is in effect
from noon today to 9 PM CDT this evening. The Fire Weather Watch
is no longer in effect.
* WINDS…Northwest 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 45 mph.
* RELATIVE HUMIDITY…As low as 15 to 22 percent.
* IMPACTS…Any fire that develops will catch and spread
quickly. Outdoor burning is not recommended.
