Flood Advisory issued March 25 at 8:01AM EDT until March 25 at 5:00PM EDT by NWS Caribou ME

* WHAT…A 2 mile long ice jam persists on the Aroostook River at
the bend near Castle Hill and Wade.

* WHERE…A portion of Northern Maine, including the following
county, Aroostook.

* WHEN…Until 500 PM EDT Tuesday.

* IMPACTS…Some low-water crossings have become impassable.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 754 AM EDT, emergency management reported flooding near
the advisory area. Minor flooding is already occurring.
– Camps are flooded upstream of Gardner Creek on the private
camp road.
