…The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in North
Carolina…

Neuse River At Kinston affecting Jones and Lenoir Counties.

For the Neuse River…including Kinston…Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHAT…Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE…Neuse River at Kinston.

* WHEN…Until just after midnight tonight.

* IMPACTS…At 14.0 feet, Water overflows into lowlands adjacent to
the river. Water access docks are also affected.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 11:15 AM EDT Tuesday the stage was 14.1 feet.
– Recent Activity…The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
ending at 11:15 AM EDT Tuesday was 14.4 feet.
– Forecast…The river is expected to rise to a crest of 14.2
feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage this
evening.
– Flood stage is 14.0 feet.

Neosho River near Parsons affecting Neosho and Labette Counties. * WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Neosho River near Parsons. * WHEN...Until early Wednesday morning. * IMPACTS...At 23.0 feet, Flood waters spread over fields to a distance of 1 and one fourth miles. Several county roads, mainly along the left bank are inundated. Several residents which live along the right bank in the vicinity of Highway 400 may experience water entering their homes at basement levels. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 2:30 AM CDT Monday
