.Elevated Fire Danger Expected Today…
This afternoon, relative humidities are expected to drop to 20 to
30 percent and wind expected to gust between 20 to 30 mph with
isolated higher gusts in the high terrain. Thought fuel moistures
have recovered some over the last days, less than 0.1″ over the
last 24 hours will maintain a marginal threat.
This will lead to an elevated fire danger today. Please refer to
your local burn permitting authorities on whether you may burn
outdoors. If you do burn, use extreme caution since fires can
increasingly escalate under these conditions.
