Flood Warning for the following rivers in Texas…

Nueces River Near Bluntzer affecting Jim Wells, San Patricio and
Nueces Counties.

Nueces River Near Tilden affecting McMullen County.

San Fernando Creek Near Alice affecting Jim Wells County.

Aransas River Near Skidmore affecting Bee County.

For the Nueces River…including Cotulla, Tilden, Three Rivers,
Mathis, Bluntzer, Calallen…Moderate flooding is forecast.
For the San Fernando Creek…including Alice…Moderate flooding is
forecast.
For the Aransas River…including Skidmore…Moderate flooding is
forecast.

* WHAT…Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE…Nueces River near Bluntzer.

* WHEN…From Thursday evening to early Friday afternoon.

* IMPACTS…At 18.0 feet, Minor lowland flooding occurs. Sustained
flow at this rate floods homes downstream near Calallen.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 8:00 AM CDT Wednesday the stage was 6.5 feet.
– Bankfull stage is 12.0 feet.
– Forecast…The river will rise above flood stage tomorrow
afternoon to 18.4 feet tomorrow evening. It will then rise to
18.4 feet tomorrow evening. It is forecast to fall below
flood stage late tomorrow evening.
– Flood stage is 18.0 feet.
