High Wind Watch issued March 25 at 8:15PM AKDT until March 27 at 4:00PM AKDT by NWS Juneau AK

* WHAT…Northeast winds 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 60 mph
possible.

* WHERE…City and Borough of Juneau.

* WHEN…From Wednesday afternoon through Thursday afternoon.

* IMPACTS…High winds could blow around unsecured objects,
damage property and cause power outages. Travel could be
difficult.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…Conditions look favorable for strong
winds in the Downtown Juneau area starting Wednesday evening
and persisting through Thursday. Confidence is high for the
potential of wind gusts between 40 and 50 mph. The potential
for wind gusts up to 60 mph is there but confidence is not as
high at this time, but the threat remains and will need to be
monitored as things get closer.
