increased in duration for the following rivers in Texas…

Aransas River Near Skidmore affecting Bee County.

For the Aransas River…including Skidmore…Major flooding is
forecast.

* WHAT…Major flooding is forecast.

* WHERE…Aransas River near Skidmore.

* WHEN…Until early Sunday morning.

* IMPACTS…At 20.0 feet, Major lowland flooding occurs. Crops are
damaged and pastureland is flooded in the Poesta and Aransas Creek
flood plains upstream.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 10:15 AM CDT Thursday the stage was 11.6 feet.
– Bankfull stage is 7.0 feet.
– Forecast…The river is expected to rise above flood stage
late this afternoon to a crest of 21.5 feet early tomorrow
afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage Saturday
morning.
– Flood stage is 13.0 feet.
