Flood Warning issued March 27 at 9:18AM EDT until March 28 at 8:00AM EDT by NWS Charleston SC

* WHAT…Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE…Ogeechee River near Eden.

* WHEN…Until Friday morning.

* IMPACTS…At 11.0 feet, portions of Yarbrough Landing Road become
impassable. Flooding will also begin upstream of the gauge at the
Steel Bridge boat landing on Highway 119. Water will overflow the
riverbank and begin to encroach on a few homes near the boat
landing.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 900 AM EDT Thursday, the stage was 11.1 feet.
– Forecast…The river is expected to fall below flood stage
this evening and continue falling to 8.6 feet Tuesday
morning.
– Flood stage is 11.0 feet.
