above 5000 feet.

* WHEN…From 11 AM to 11 PM PDT Thursday.
* IMPACTS…Travel will be difficult on Highway 395 due to strong
crosswinds. Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Tree
limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…Stronger winds to 60 mph are possible from
Independence to Big Pine as well as around Olancha. If these
stronger winds develop, it would occur between 4 PM to 10 PM PDT
Thursday.
