At 1133 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Granjero, or 7 miles west of Hidalgo, moving northeast at 10 mph.

HAZARD…Wind gusts up to 40 mph.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include…
Boeye Reservoir, Austin Middle School, Lake Texano, Mcallen High
School, Narciso G. Cavazos Elementary School, South Pharr Elementary
School, Buckner Elementary School, Doffing, Las Palmas Community
Center, and Enrique Camarena Elementary School.

This includes the following highways…
US Highway 83 near mile marker 850.
US Highway 281 between mile markers 784 and 788.
