* WHAT…Southwest winds 25 to 35 mph with gusts 50 to 60 mph.
Stronger gusts up to 70 mph possible along wind prone areas of
Highway 395. Additional strong gusts are possible along Surprise
Valley Road and along the Lassen Plumas County crest, where gusts
may exceed 65 mph.

* WHERE…In California, Lassen-Eastern Plumas-Eastern Sierra
Counties and Surprise Valley California. In Nevada, Northern
Washoe County.

* WHEN…Until 8 PM PDT this evening.

* IMPACTS…Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Tree
limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result.
Travel could be difficult, especially for high profile vehicles.
