Flash Flood Warning issued March 28 at 2:34AM CDT until March 28 at 3:00AM CDT by NWS Brownsville TX

At 234 AM CDT, Emergency Management reported swift water rescues in
La Feria. Between 6 and 11 inches of rain have fallen. Additional
rainfall amounts of up to one half inch are possible in the warned
area. Flash flooding is already occurring.

HAZARD…Life threatening flash flooding. Heavy rain producing
flash flooding.

SOURCE…Emergency management reported.

IMPACT…Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams,
urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses.

Some locations that will experience flash flooding include…
Harlingen, La Feria, La Feria Public Library, La Feria Police
Department, La Feria High School, La Feria North, La Feria
Reservoir, Adams Gardens, Solis, Bixby and Stuart Place.
